Emotions can also pay a price as a fear of dying may develop. That along with worry, crying, nervousness, gloomy self-awareness, increased guilt or shame, fear of going insane, panic feelings and / or fear of imminent doom can makes stress a dangerous foe.

Sleeping well : The truth is that that each of us need all of the sleep we will get if we are going to avoid stress. Sleep is a crucial antidote for the stress of everyday living. Doctor. Archibald D. Hart. Good sleep doesn't come from sleeping tablets, which only creates havoc in the body and interferes with the bodys ability to drop off to sleep naturally. If you can not sleep, it's better to just lie down, immobilize your body and relax your body and spirit as much as practicable. Even doing this will permit the brain to replace itself as you choose to think on lovely, upbeat things. It also will be very healing to your body and undo the damage caused by the stress of the day.
Discover ways to Relax : Incredibly, there are people, and perhaps you are someone who haven't a clue how to relax. However, if one is serious about countering the negative results of stress on their bodies and minds, one MUST learn how to relax.
“Of all the techniques available for counteracting stress and reducing the symptoms of distress, deliberate relaxation represents the most well-deserved and thoroughly researched. It is safe, effective and it doesn’t cost anything. Not only is it the cheapest healing force we know of, it is also probably the most effective. Believe me, relaxation is a powerful healing tool.” Dr. Archibald D. Hart
Relaxation can seriously improve raised blood pressure, strain headaches and sleeplessness, among other stress-related abnormalities. We won't under estimate the power of relaxation to promote healing and restoration to the body. (For particular relaxation methods you can try the book Adrenaline and Stress by Doctor. Archibald D. Hart)
Laughter : Laughing brings healing to many things, including wrath. It also helps to revive viewpoint on life and creates cheerfulness in others. Proverbs 17:22 has been proven scientifically over and over again “A cheerful heart does good like medicine, but a broken spirit makes one sick.” There's a great amount of evidence to suggest that 2 of the best stimulants to our immune reaction are humor and contentment. Curiously enough, laughter is also good for a hurting head, ulcers and high cholesterol. So start laughing!
As discussed prior, we aren't just physical and emotional beings, but spiritual human beings also. It's the strength of our spirituality that will best work out how we handle and make a response to the pressures of life. A connection with God, thru belief in Jesus permits us to live by a power that isn't our own. As Followers of Jesus Christ, we are given the supernatural power of God the Holy Spirit and the continual presence of Our Lord God, which is the best antidote for stress there is.
Matthew 6:25 tells us that we aren't to worry about life "what we are going to eat or what we will drink, nor our body as to what we will put on.
Why? Because God, the source of our every need, guarantees to provide and care for us as we seek Him first and make Him our first priority in our lives.
Philippians 4:6 says “Don’t worry about anything but in everything by prayer and supplications with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
When you are overwhelmed with living life and it looks to be more than you can bear, you have a decision to make. You can struggle thru as best you can with hopes you'll come out ok. How about this, take your Heavenly Father up on His offer to come to Him with all of your fears and cares, recognizing with a thankful heart that He alone is capable of making a way for you through the strains and burdens of life.
Living the Christian life does not necessarily mean sun and roses all of the time but it does mean we've all the resources we need from God to deal with the pressures in life that come our way. Reciting His promises of how He promises to guard, provide, care for, buttress and do for us surpassing abundantly above all we could ask or think will feed our soul and fortify our mind so that we do not submit to the otherwise unavoidable consequences of stress.
